International Education Week 2015

I am graduating and not going to be attending SUU in the fall, but currently I am working on the International Education Week banner for Fall 2015. This will be saved as a PDF Illustrator file that the new designer for next year can tweak to their liking. Looking at it now I feel that the white background could be changed to teal and still leave the white text, instead of separate boxes.

Summer Study Abroad 2016

I was asked to create a 3x5' banner and a flyer for the summer study abroad programs for 2016. They want students to start planning for it now and not wait until the next school year begins. The final flyer uses blue and orange, and a small illustration with a gradient. The photograph was the center of this design but it did create issues in placing the text. If I had started with typography then added the photo, I think I would have had an easier time and it could have looked a little cleaner.

Study Abroad Edge Project

For this project I was asked to create a flyer about the study abroad programs for Edge projects. The first one I created looked a little busy, also "goodbye" was changed to "hello" to sound more positive about the Edge program, since many students do not look forward to doing this. The final still seems a little busy to me, and I could have bettered the typography by only emphasizing what was needed and making other type smaller, such as "study abroad" could be smaller than "edge project", and "hello" smaller than "edge project." Or something like that. Everything in hindsight.

Insight Dubai

I was asked to create a flyer and a mySUU Portal graphic for the Insight Dubai Women's Conference. I chose the colors blue and orange because they complement each other, and plenty of white space for a clean layout. Looking back, I could have done something more with the text on the flyer and have it not look so chunky.
